His passing in 2019 was a great loss to magic. John was a genius, and an exceedingly creative and skillful magician. Every once in a while, though, I bring it out and am amazed to see that it's still kicking. Unbelievably, it still works on the original battery, but that's certainly because I haven't used it for performing in a couple decades. While the original is relatively primitive compared to the newest iteration, it was cutting edge in its day and I was still able to work many a miracle with it. I still have my original Thought Transmitter wallet that I purchased directly from John about 30 years ago.
